Randy S. Butler

August 19, 1955 - July 14, 2023

Randy S. Butler was born on August 19, 1955 in Hohenwald, the son of the late Bill Freemon and Myrtle Wallace Butler. He was united in marriage to Martha Butler on June 22, 1974.

Randy was an employee of Ryder Integrated Logistics, and Crews Logging from which he retired. Randy Honorably served in the TN National Guard as a Staff Sergeant until retirement.

He was a devoted member of Waynesboro First Fellowship Church in Waynesboro. His hobbies included fishing and carpentry. Mr. Butler departed this life on July 14, 2023 at the age of 67 years, 10 months, 25 days.

He is survived by his wife Martha Butler of Waynesboro; two sons, Stephen Butler (Tina) of Columbia, Chad Butler of Bell Buckle; one brother, Tony G. Butler (Sandra) of Waynesboro, and a brother-in-law, Dwaine Gable of Waynesboro; a sister-in-law Helen Butler of Waynesboro; four grandchildren, Braxton Butler, Madison Butler, Molly Butler, and Devin Webb.

In addition to his parents, Randy was preceded in death by a brother, William F. Butler Jr; two sisters, Orene Gable and Geneva Butler.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, July 17,at Waynesboro First Fellowship Church in Waynesboro, with N.J. Pope officiating. Burial followed at the Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors assisting the family.
