OKLAHOMA CITY – SONIC® Drive-In congratulates the Summertown drive-in at 9102 Highway 20 for advancing to the Final 12 teams in the 2023 DR PEPPER® SONIC® GAMES! To celebrate this achievement and the Summertown drive-in team’s dedication to serving their guests and community, the SONIC Foundation has donated $10,000 to support Summertown-area schools and directly fund classroom projects submitted by local public school teachers, in partnership with education nonprofit DonorsChoose.org.
The DR PEPPER® SONIC® GAMES is the brand’s premier training program. Over the course of several months, the drive-in team at 9102 Highway 20 engaged in spirited competition, participating in a diverse array of trainings, quizzes and stimulating team and individual challenges. Throughout the duration of the competition, the team’s efficiency, service, and even friendliness was rigorously evaluated and put to the ultimate test. The local Summertown drive-in team earned its spot in this last leg of the competition by excelling above and beyond their peers in the fields of customer service and on-site training.
