LC High School Golf

The Lewis County High School golf teams opened up their 2023 schedule on the road as they traveled to Dixie Oaks Golf Club in Summertown for matches against Summertown, Mt. Pleasant, and Hampshire.

In girls’ play, the Summertown Lady Eagles took the win, shooting a team-total of 72. The Lady Panthers finished second in the match, bringing in a 100 Mt. Pleasant carded a 139 for third and Hampshire finished fourth with a 194. Lewis County’s Abby Carroll was the low scorer for the Lady Panthers as she finished the day with a 45, Linley Harris tallied a 55, and Peyton James a 63.

In boys’ action, Summertown fired a team-total of 156 to finish in first. Lewis County was second on the afternoon with a 177, Mt. Pleasant was third at 181, and Hampshire fourth with a 194. River Carroll carded the lowest score for the Panthers with a 38, Steele Moseley finished his round at 43, Carter Webb shot a 45, Kegan Carroll-Clayton a 51, and Ryder Ward a 52.
