The Lewis County Middle School golf team traveled to Lobelville and the Buffalo River Country Club for the first match of their 2023 season against Perry County, Lobelville, and Lakeview on Tuesday, August 8th

In girls’ play Lewis County edged out Lobelville for first with a team score of 52. Lobelville carded a 53 for second and Perry County was third with a 64. Lakeview did not play in the girls’ match. Kayclyn Williams finished with Lewis County’s low score at 25, Anna Kate Jones finished the day with a 27, Kinley Pace and Emily Lomax each had a 34.

In boys’ action Perry County took the team win with a score of 65, Lewis County second at 75, and Lobelville third with a team score of 82. Nolan Whitehead fired a 22 for Lewis County, Trey Landers finished at 23, Jaxon Long 27, and Isaac Pierson 28.
