Micheal "Fat Daddy" Johnston, a beloved figure in his hometown of Hohenwald, peacefully transitioned from this life on September 27, 2023, at the age of 49. Born on September 17, 1974, also in Hohenwald, Micheal was the embodiment of gentle courage.
Raised by his devoted mother, Judy Johnston, Micheal shared a close bond with his brother, Dennis (Misty) Hennessy, and cousin, Dennis Johnston Jr. He also leaves behind his aunts and uncles, Dennis (Michelle) Johnston, Doris (Lynn) Brown, Debbie (Jim) Musselwhite, Dennis Irwin Johnston, and Bobbi Prater; as well as his niece and nephews Andrew, Lily, and Rocco Hennessy
Micheal was a proud alumnus of Lewis County High School, where he was well-liked by his classmates and teachers.
Known for his unique and adventurous interests, Micheal was an avid collector of knives and various swords. His collection was a testament to his diverse taste and his appreciation for the craftsmanship and artistry behind each piece. He would spend hours polishing and arranging his collection.
Micheal was a gentle soul, and his courage was also notable; he faced life's challenges with steadfast determination and grace, never allowing adversity to dampen his spirit. His strength was an inspiration to many, and his kindness left a lasting impact on those he encountered.
His memory will forever be cherished by his loving family and the community of Hohenwald. Micheal's life, though cut short, was lived to the fullest, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
A celebration of Life memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. with visitation beginning at 3:00 in the Chapel of Adair Funeral and Cremation Services.
