Kathy Belle Holt Prater

Kathy Belle Holt Prater, a beloved soul who touched the lives of many, was born on December 8, 1950, in Hohenwald. With heavy hearts, we announce that Kathy departed this life on October 20, 2023, in Florence, Alabama, at the age of 72 years, 10 months, and 12 days.

She was the daughter of the late Ralph Edward Holt and Frances Holt Lawrence. On September 18, 1967, she entered into a lifelong partnership with her loving husband Donald Prater.
