A very beautiful weekend in the area with mild temperatures and beautiful sunshine. Saturday, we attended the Lomax Ladies Day with Brandy Love, she is a hometown girl who grew up in the area and is the daughter of Caroline Duncan and David Duncan and sister to Brooke. She had a wonderful lesson and was so good for this day and time in our lives as it dealt with the attitude of our hearts. The ladies at Lomax outdid themselves as they had a wonderful continental style breakfast and then lunch with a mini bundt cake for each one to take home in a box, really cute and then lunch was a choice of different soups and sandwiches with all kinds of crackers and croutons and each table had a bundt cake in the center for the ladies at that table to enjoy and you could also see what different kinds were on the tables around you and choose what you wanted of course there was no bad ones in the whole annex. Thanks for all the work they did.

Those I know of who are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Margie Barber, Joyce Barnes, Colene Beasley, Lynn Brown, Gertie Carroll, Spencer Clark, Robert and Pat Dickson ,Jerry Edwards, Ophelia Green, Darrell Hinson, Wanda Holloway, Debbie Johnston, Florine Johnston, Bobby Kilpatrick, Tom Kilpatrick, Denny King, Monette King, Claire Elizabeth Mayberry, Ronnie Lewis, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Jackie McFall, Carla Murphy, Joy Orman, Roger Pace, Alvie Pickford, Debbie Pierce, Harry Runions, Tina Sharp, Bobby Simmons, Johnnie Faye Skelton, Terry Stutts, Jeff Tatum, Diane Williams, Doug Williams, and Annette Williams. Some in the area are still having covid so be careful where you go and be safe and try to stay away from large crowds Remember these in your daily prayers that they might be better and for any others that need prayers.

We wish a happy birthday to Shirley Emily Clayton the 13th, to Blant Mayes, Tanner Carroll, Angela Odom and Dot Kauffman the 14th, Daryl Mercer and Pam Carroll the 15th, and to Koty and Amanda Foster the 16th. We wish for these a very happy birthday and many more years to celebrate life.

Happy anniversary to Burton and Retha Graham on November 11, we wish for them many more happy years to celebrate life together.
