Veterans Day Parade

will start at the Lewis County Elementary School in front of the two story building in front of the gym. There will be no program at the school but the second grade class will do a program at the Lewis County Courthouse.

All those who wish to participate in the parade should be at the school by 10:00 a.m. on November 10 to get lined up and ready to start the parade at 10:30 a.m. The group will march down to the courthouse for all the programs. If it is raining, the program will be held at the Community Building at Memorial Park. All veterans are encouraged to be there to help the Ameriacan Legion and V.F.W., stated Post Adjutant Tommy Carroll.

Lewis County Elks will host a Veterans Day luncheon November 11 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at the Lewis County Elks Lodge, 416 Swiss Colony Road.

Veterans and their families are invited.
