When the Brooms Fly Away, the Elves Come Out to Play

The goblins retreated to their lairs, villians to their castles and witches mounted their brooms and took off. Just as soon as they did, Santa sent his elves to the City of Hohenwald to do what they do best: work! Hey, Hohenwald, your Christmas is showing.

The 2023 addition, "The Christmas Window" was set up in Rusted Hinge by City Elves in the middle of night, so locals could wake up to the wonderful sight of a glowy, wintery scene, complete with a working train, dollies, aluminum tree, vintage toys, and SANTA! And, it's the one that happens to be in many locals' memories; the Western Auto Santa.

The corner of Main and Park is showing off last year's addition: new tree, ornaments and topper, while City Hall is donned with colored lights and greenery, as well as the repurposed tree that adorned Main Street for years. Christmas lights are being strung across the city streets with care, and final touches will continue to be added until Santa gets here.
