The first thing to know is that health is your birthright and is always present. Think of the times that you have healed a cut, resolved a bruise, overcome an infectious illness, and even forgiven someone who you were angry with. Some people have cured their diabetes, high blood pressure and even cancer. The current state of your health is the accumulation of your life experiences. As you learn to make better choices that support health, you may be surprised by what your body is capable of.

Do you want to feel better? Have less pain, more energy, think more clearly? I can tell you this is possible. Let’s get started.

What are you eating?

How does that compare to what people were eating in the 1800’s? Most of the processed foods that are so readily available today did not even exist 100 years ago. Humans are designed to eat whole, real foods. This includes foods such as meat, eggs and dairy. Foods that anyone can raise, process and enjoy without big corporations or factories. Breakfast could be whole milk, eggs and bacon, not sugary cereals with skim milk. Lunch could be a bowl of homemade meat and vegetable soup with cream and fresh sauerkraut. Not a bologna sandwich on white bread. Dinner could be a delicious pot roast with baked winter squash and butter. Not chicken nuggets and frozen french fries. Dessert could be fresh fruit or homemade ice cream made with real cream, maple syrup and egg yolks. Not store bought cookies.

So begins the adventures into learning about your health and things you can do to feel better and enjoy your life more.
