Jingle Jeeps

Raises record-breaking funds for local organizations

The "caboose" to the annual Christmas in Hohenwald festivities is always the "Jingle Jeeps and Yuletide UTV ride." This year, on December 16th, 59 Jeeps and UTV's braved the cold, rainy weather to raise money for two great organizations. Both Hope Hohenwald, inc., and the Fraternal Order of Police were equal part recipients of the nearly $10,000 raised by generous donors participating in the event. Several businesses in town also donated prizes which were awarded during the pre-ride festivities, after the Pilot Club's Reading of the Light a Lite names which honors or remembers someone who has been a beacon of light in a life.

"A huge thank you goes out to all the sponsors and attendees of this year's event! A record-breaking amount was raised for kids in our community for Christmas. We hope everyone had a good time and will make plans to visit again next year," said event organizers Brent Bridges and Chris Holt.

Winners of this year's Best Dressed Jeep were Ryan and Jessica Nance, and the winners of the Best Dressed UTV were tied, Chris and Vicky Lynn, and Mel and Bryan Bartel.
