It is with regret we announce the passing of LTC Ret. Michael H. Magee, US Army. LTC Magee was born on July 13, 1935, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and passed away on February 4, 2024, in Fayetteville.
Michael proudly served his country for 21 years in the US Army. He was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Masonic Lodge, and was a Shriner.
Survivors include his daughter, Susan (David) Austin of Ardmore; son, Michael Christopher (Crystal) Magee of Lebanon, Missiouri; grandchildren, Catherine (Cody) Jackson, Michael (Tyhiya) Magee, Colton Palmer, Collin Magee, Courtney Magee, Halle Magee, and Sierra (Tommy) Nault; and ten great-grandchildren.
LTC Magee was preceded in death by his parents, Portman Joseph Magee and Nora Ethal Carmody Magee; wife, Peggy Oliver Magee; and sister, Patricia Carmody.
