Summertown Metals Celebrates Grand Opening at New Hohenwald Facility

Located at 189 Progress Drive, Summertown Metals' newest location houses its Garage Door Division.

"After nearly two years of planning and construction, we are ready to officially open our new Garage Door Division at the Industrial Park," says Summertown Metals Owner Matt Stoll. "We are excited for our company's continued growth and with that the opportunities this provides for our team members, community, and our customers! Not only is the extra space great for our installers and customers, it also opens a tremendous amount of space at our main yard allowing its expansion as well, along with more product and employment opportunities."

The Garage Door Division's move from the main location in Summertown, TN, to Industrial Park in Hohenwald, TN, is instrumental in allowing for forecasted continued expansion known to the Summertown Metals team as the "Race for Space" through its unprecedented growth.

"The new building is a blessing to us," says Chase Parrott, Garage Door Division Team Lead, "With nearly double the space of our previous facility, it allows us to exponentially increase the volume of work being performed and gives us the necessary space to better store garage door parts and equipment."

Parrott eagerly shared that the new building will also make it easier for customers to pick up garage doors. "Not only do we coordinate garage door installations on buildings constructed by Summertown Metals, but we also sell garage doors, garage door openers, and various other garage door parts to the public," says Parrott.

The new building features two bay doors-one on the front of the building with another on the side-allowing customers to easily load their purchases. A main lobby is also available to greet customers.

"It is remarkable to see the community come together to help breathe new life into its community. The excitement and willingness to help bring more business in is awe inspiring. The Lewis County officials and Mayor Keltner have been wonderful to work with and we can't thank them enough for this opportunity for our company," states Luke Bolling, the General Manager of Summertown Metals.
