Tennessee Federation of Republican Women Hosts Board of Directors Meeting

Tennessee Federation of Republican Women (TNFRW) clubs from across the state gathered in Nashville February 3 for the Winter Board of Directors Meeting where much information was shared and presented to all.

The Executive Board met prior to the general meeting to discuss plans for the coming year with an emphasis on supporting Republicans in upcoming elections and was followed by a training session for all club presidents. Next, the Board of Directors Meeting began with reports from the Executive Committee, Standing Committee Chairs, Special Committee Chairs and President's Appointees.

Guest speaker was Ward Baker, founder, and President of Baker Group Strategies. His speech inspired all attendees to work hard in 2024. Ward was senior advisor to Bill Hagerty's campaign. In 2018, he served as senior advisor to Marsha Blackburn. He is currently working on other campaigns. Prior to this he was executive director of the NRSC, the National Republican Senatorial Committee helping Republicans hold the Senate Majority with 52 seats.

The Tennessee Federation of Republican Women (TFRW) is a grassroots volunteer political group organized to promote Republican values and to help Republican candidates be elected. TFRW is a member of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) which was founded in 1938 and has over 75,000 members engaged in building leaders and energizing communities to keep America strong. Since its founding in 1955, the Tennessee Federation of Republican Women has championed the cause of engaging, educating and empowering women in the political process and providing a forum for women to serve as leaders in the political and civic arenas.

Attending from Lewis County were Virginia Breedlove and Lizabeth Lowe.
