Pilot Club Recognizes Service

As a pick-me-up project the Pilot Club of Hohenwald recognizes caregivers or outstanding individuals of the community who devote their time for the betterment of Lewis County. The Pilot Club recently honored the employees of Tennessee Department of Transportation TDOT for their outstanding job of keeping our roads safe for travel. With only four employees and herself, Superintendent Kim Smotherman, center, had our state roads cleared within a short time after the recent snow storm. Many times the local TDOT crew are out going for hours during heavy rains, snow and other highway related dangers.
