Joyce Ann (Brewer) Hall

Joyce Ann Brewer Hall, 64, a woman of laughter and love, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2024, in Columbia, and was born on May 29, 1959, in Franklin, Indiana. She was the cherished daughter of Marianna Brewer and the late James Virgil Brewer Jr.

Joyce’s journey was one marked by the laughter of friends, the warmth of family, and the time spent with her husband, Jack Jeffery Hall. Her memory will carry on in her children Rhianna (Jacob) Garrett, Michael Jared Cothran, Melissa Bartell, and Jack Hall Jr., all of whom inherited her humor and kindness.

Her role as a grandmother to Evan D. Garrett and Emmitt Garrett was one that Joyce embraced with every ounce of her being. She delighted in spending time with her grandchildren, imparting wisdom, shared giggles, and creating memories that will forever be etched in their hearts. Joyce’s siblings, Lora (Jeff) de Lacey and James V. (Robin) Brewer III, along with her sisters-in-law Meri Wicks and Karen Chappel, and brother-in-law Rickey McCann, will remember her as a source of constant support and friendship. Her sister Janice McCann, who predeceased her, was no doubt waiting with open arms to welcome Joyce into the next chapter of eternity.

A woman of many interests, Joyce found joy in the simple pleasures of life. Her days were often spent surrounded by her family and enjoying the comfort of companionship.

A celebration of Joyce’s life will be held on March 30th, where family and friends will gather in remembrance of a life well-lived. The gathering will take place at 302 Harlan Street, Hohenwald, where stories will be shared, and laughter will echo in honor of Mrs. Joyce. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to be donated to a local community service organization.

Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
