Series: Gordonsburg | Story 14

We went from spring early last week to winter again the latter part of the week and weekend and Sunday brought warmer temperatures after a cool morning. This week promises thundershowers and rain for the first three days and then warmer temperatures and dry. This will be good for the gardeners and farmers.

Was glad to attend the dedication of the pavilion and picnic area located at the end of the Discovery Center. It was nice and so grateful to the Adcox family and Highland Oil for all they did to make this possible. There were several of the Adcox family present and talked about their family past and present. A plaque was placed at the pavilion to honor the Adcox family. There were several Historical Society members and Highland Oil employees in attendance, and everyone was treated to a meal at the Highland Oil Training Center and Conference Center after the dedication.

Prayers for your family to have health and happiness during the coming days and weeks. Remember to help were you can and always honor those who are deserving.
