Single vehicle crash injures two

A father and daughter were transported to a Nashville hospital by helicopter after the 2009 Buick they were in left the roadway in the 1900 block of Summertown Highway Sunday, April 28, around 6:15 a.m. Four Tennessee Highway Patrol Troopers investigated the accident taking photos and measurements. Early reports indicate speed to be a factor. The family was traveling east and the vehicle became airborne before coming to its final stop. Lewis County Fire and Rescue, Lewis County Sheriff Deputies and Maury Regional Emergency Medical assisted at the scene.
