Pretty sure that Spring is here, it has been in the mid to upper eighties several days lately and even the nights have been warmer. The flowers are doing well, and many wildflowers have already bloomed and lost their blooms. We have had several thunder showers and many with heavy rain and even heavy thunder and lightning, which has hindered many of the ball games from being completed. Several softball and baseball teams were on the fields on Saturday along with Spring Fest which also suffered because of thunderstorms. Hope you didn’t get wet if you were out for these activities.

Prayers for these and others who are sick.

Happy anniversary to Kevin and Melissa Grinder on May 6th, wishing for them many more years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those families who lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about Emma Nola Dixon Stricklin, Kate Garner, Athony “Tony” Skelton, Janie Lou Holt, Angela M. “Angie” Lamberth, Timothy Akins Blackwell, Martha Colleen Page, Dorothy “Dot” Rose Jenkins, Jeffey Lee Hinson, and Jeremy Mitchell Bruce. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

Want to wish a very special birthday to all mothers this coming Sunday and hope that your family shows you the honor you deserve. Being a mother is a special service to a family and she usually does without many times to be sure her family has what they need.

Keep in mind the homecoming at Palestine Cemetery on May 26, 2024, if you cannot attend and have family at Palestine Cemetery you can send or take your donation to Regions Bank either in Hohenwald or Columbia or other places where there is a Regions bank.

Prayers for a great week for you and your family may it be blessed with happiness and health. Remember those who are less fortunate and help where you can.
