Christine Lynn Leisure

April 26, 1978 ~ April 27, 2024

Christine Lynn Leisure, affectionately known as Kitty to her friends and family, passed away on April 27, 2024, just one day after celebrating her 46th birthday. Born in Saginaw, Michigan, on April 26, 1978, Kitty grew up in a world that she would fill with love and kindness throughout her life. The picturesque town of Summertown, Tennessee, became her final sanctuary, where she spent her last moments surrounded by the natural beauty, she so cherished.

Kitty was the embodiment of warmth, her life a testament to the power of a loving heart, touching the lives of all who knew her with her unwavering compassion and gentle spirit. Her laughter was infectious, her smile a source of comfort.

Her journey through life was shared with her beloved husband, Steven Leisure, who stood by her side as a partner, confidant, and best friend. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, their bond a foundation of strength for their family. The legacy of their love is carried on by their children: Dakoda Lyle Dugger, Christopher Dugger, Dunstan Dugger, Wesley Dugger, Jeremy Merrit, Caleb Leisure, and Emma Leisure. Each child was a unique reflection of Kitty's spirit, and her guidance and wisdom will continue to shape their paths.

The circle of life was made richer by the arrival of her grandchild, Zion Duberry, who brought immeasurable joy to Kitty's later years. Though she was predeceased by her infant daughter, Brandy Lynn Hubbard, the memory of Brandy remained a tender and cherished chapter in Kitty's heart.

Kitty was the cherished daughter of the late Ronald Lyle Cook and Lynn Barnett Pyburn. Her parents' values and love were deeply instilled in her and shone through in the way she lived her life and raised her own family. She was also preceded in death by her sister Stacey Pyburn.

A celebration of Kitty's life will be held at a later date. Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
