Mrs. Kate Garner was born March 14, 1948, in Hohenwald, to the late Woodrow "Pete" Tatum and Emma "Emmie" Gladden Tatum. Mrs. Garner wore many hats and possessed various roles throughout her life but her first priority was her faith in her God, and her unconditional love she had for her family and friends. She will be remembered for her strength and a strong will that sheltered her family during seemingly insurmountable odds during any storm life had to offer.
