Terisa Diane Chumley

April 19, 1956 - May 15, 2024

Terisa Diane Chumley "NeNe", 68, a resident of Hicks Lane, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Tri Star Horizon Medical Center.

Born April 19, 1956, she is the daughter of the late Obie Mash and Oaklene Stockard Mash; she is also preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Ray "Bud" Chumley, and brother, Tommy Mash. She was a professional house cleaner for many years.

Mrs. Chumley had a cheerful spirit and a loving heart. She was always giving herself to the service of others. She loved her family, especially her children and grandchildren and even if you were not family, she made you feel like you were. Mrs. Chumley enjoyed going on new adventures and traveling. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. To know her was to love her.

Mrs. Chumley leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Tracy Chumley of Columbia; son, Daniel Chumley (Kelley) of Columbia; sister Carolyn McCord (Wayne) of Culleoka; companion, John Hinson of Nunnelly; brother, Terry Mash (Diane) of Mt. Pleasant; brother, Michael Mash (Debbie) of Georgia; brother, Jeff Mash of Hohenwald; grandson, Peyton Chumley "Doodle Bug" of Columbia; granddaughter, Presleigh Chumley of Columbia; grandson Bo Chumley of Columbia; her beloved nephew, Dale McCord of Columbia; her adopted granddaughter Sam Collins of Columbia; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor A.K. Robinnette officiating at Cross Country Cowboy Church at 1809 Bear Creek Pike Columbia.
