Atkins receives video nomination

Brenton Atkins and John Dylan Atkins have received a nomination for Music Video of The Year - Group/Duo for the song "Time" from the The Josie Music Awards that will be held at The Grand Ole Opry on October 27th. The JMA's are the biggest award show for independent music there is, and this year they received over 75,000 submissions with only 3% receiving a nomination.

Brenton stated, "I wrote the song "Time" 6 months after Drew Hinson passed away. It took me nearly 5 years to be able to start the recording process because it was just too heavy. I'm super thankful to have an extremely creative family that made this all possible! From Dylan writing, directing, acting, and shooting most of the video, to my little guy Harrison having the most crucial acting in the video, to Kristin Money jumping in and filming the scenes Dylan was acting in and being able to capture his vision, to Kacey's natural home-decor skills making the set look amazing. It's going to be super fun to walk the red carpet at The Opry with my family! And Drew, I promise you'll be well represented brother!"
