Shooting Sports team competes in regional competition

Lewis County shooting sports team members, Zoie Clark, Emery Norris, Lane Gobbell, Spencer Clark, Mahaley Bean, KC Braun, Anna Burney, Aiden Johnston, Ryder Ward, Sydney Dixon, Ty Clark, Gracelynn Staggs, Treyson Dixon, Daniel Burcham, Xavier Shook, Caleb Moon, Ayden Brangard, Gabriel Shook, Michael Lyons, Emma Odom, Ian Gillette, Cannon Cates, Katelyn Joswiak, Rylan Ethridge, Liam Holt, Kyden Kilpatrick, Gauge Clayton and Andie Starcher Competed in the 2024 regional competitions in Nashville Tennessee May 31 through June 1. All team members shot trap and some also shot sporting clays and skeet.

Ladies' varsity shooters Zoie Clark placed first in Trap with a 99/100 and 3rd in sporting clays; Junior varsity shooter, Anna Burney, placed third in sporting clays, trap and skeet; Rookie shooter, Gracelynn Staggs placed third in Trap; collegiate shooter, KC Braun placed second in Trap and collegiate shooter, Daniel Burcham placed second in sporting clays and third in Trap. All the shooters did exceptionally well, some turning their best scores to date.

Lewis County shooting sports team will next be competing in the state competitions beginning June 18 -22, 2024 in Nashville TN.
