Rock-the-Lot Brings Good Food & Fun

Rock The Lot is just around the corner and we couldn’t be more excited. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, June 29th at the City Parking Lot. We want to see the entire community be a part of this amazing night, creating unforgettable memories together. Going strong for its 6th year, Rock The Lot is completely free for everyone to attend, aside from the yummy food trucks, of course.

It is going to be such a fun evening with lots of exciting things planned. Free family activities this year include:

•Water slides and inflatable fun

•Train rides

•Face painting

•Balloon twisting

•Live music by The 77

•Fireworks show

And let’s not forget about food! A delicious line up of global flavors and tasty snacks that support our community will be available. Bring a big appetite and be prepared to indulge in some mouth-watering dishes from the following food trucks and vendors:

•FOP #73 Alan Ragsdale Memorial: BBQ, hamburgers, hotdogs, chips.

•Ooh-La-La New Orleans Style Shaved Ice: Speciality Snowcones

•Ooh-La-La Feed Your Soul: Cajun meat pies, crawfish pies, cheesy boudin balls, chilled shrimp dip, pasta salad

•Nessa’s British Delights: Fish ‘n chips, scotch eggs, sausage rolls, beer-battered sausage, scones, British desserts

•Tennessee Subs: Monte Cristo baskets, chicken tenders, funnel cakes, spiral fries

•La Tapatia Hohenwald: Tacos, quesadillas, burritos, veggie torta.

•The Local Lemon: Gourmet flavored lemonade

•The Cotton Candy Kid: Cotton candy

•Bri’s Homemade Ice Cream: Waffle ice cream sandwiches, chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry ice cream

•Lewis County Soccer Club: Juicy, ice-cold watermelon

•Lewis County Jr Pro: Refreshing cold drinks

Make sure to bring a lawn chair and arrive early to enjoy all the family activities and food trucks starting at 5:30 PM. The concert by The 77 Experience will kick off at 7 PM, followed by a dazzling fireworks show.
