Goes without saying we are still very hot and dry; many have been playing in ball tournaments and it really hot especially if you can’t find some shade to sit in. the players have made it good even though it has been so hot but guess the heat doesn’t bother them as much as it does us older ones. My great grand daughter is playing with a team that has not lost a game as on Monday in the state tournament. They play today and then we will know where we go from here. Congratulations to this ball team and others as they play their games.

The library still has lots of events and story times planned for those in the area, hopefully you will take advantage of these programs. Check with the library for upcoming events.

There are still VBS’s going on in the area and children learn from these as well as having fun and enjoying being with other young people as well as the adults which have classes also.

Prayers for all those families who are out and about during the coming days while it is so hot and be sure to stay well hydrated if you are outside for long periods. Remember as you go about your daily life if there is someone who might be less fortunate take time to visit, call, or send a card to them. They would really appreciate it.
