Serving Hohenwald, Lewis County Tennessee Since 1898
Q.) Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?
A.) I'm a Nanny to Dexlyn & Andelyn (AJ), a mother to Kayce & Trey, and for 31 years, wife of the best man on earth, Jeff Holbrook.
Q.) Where did you grow up?
A.) I grew up right here in Hohenwald.
Q.) What is one of your fondest childhood memories?
A.) Penelope, Derek and I happily grew up in convenience stores. Our family was always together and very close. Looking back those were the best times making memories and lifelong friendships. Oh the stories I could tell!
Q.) What did you want to be as a kid? What did you actually become?
A.) I thought about going into the medical field, but one summer in 1992 working as a teller intrigued me. Now, 32 years later, banking is my life!
Q.) Who was/is your biggest role model?
A.) My daddy, John Wayne Potts. He taught me to work hard, be kind and to love my family no matter what comes along. For him, I try everyday to do those things. I miss his advice and knowledge so much.
Q.) What are some of your favorite hobbies/ how do you like to spend your free time?
A.) I used to shop like no other! But these days a ride on the side x side makes me happy. My free time is spent best when I'm with my kids and grandkids, my family is my everything.

Q.) What is your favorite time of year? Why?
A.) Definitely Spring/Summer! I think everyone feels better, and is happier.
Q.) What do you enjoy most about your job?
A.) Definitely the people I work with. Because without each other we would not make it through some days. We laugh, we cry, we are family.
Q.) Do you have a nick name?
A.) Not really, just Nanny and Momma. I have a co-worker who calls me by my middle name Suzette.
Q.) If you could invite any famous person over for dinner, who would it be? Why?
A.) Kid Rock! I think he would be so much fun!
