School Supplies Giveaway at Hohenwald Housing Authority

Members of the Lewis County Elks Lodge #2883 will be at the Hohenwald Housing Authority office on July 26th from 10:00 am - 12 noon, to distribute backpacks with school supplies, to the children residing in the Housing Authority.

This is the Elks third annual backpack giveaway. Funding for the backpacks and school supplies are made possible by a Community Outreach Grant from the Tennessee Elks Association that was awarded to the lodge this year. After all the children have received the backpacks, any remaining backpacks will be distributed to families in need in the community.

If you would like to be placed on the list for a backpack, if available, please visit the housing authority office on Friday and leave your name and contact information with Terry Medina.
