Rose Ann Hatchett

Rose Ann Hatchett passed away peacefully on July 11, 2024, in Hohenwald, with her family by her side. She was born on August 24, 1937, in El Paso, Texas.

Rose's passion for sports was evident. She enjoyed playing golf, bowling, and skiing, but she also enjoyed watching games, such as hockey, on TV. Rose's love for animals was unparalleled, especially her fondness for dogs and horses, but she also found great joy in watching birds through the picture window in her home.

Rose and her husband were regular attendees of the Thousand Hills Cowboy Church. She became a beloved friend of many at the Lewis County Senior Center. She was known for her outgoing personality and the friendships she cultivated there. Rose's social nature and her ability to connect with people made her a treasured friend to many.

Rose was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Taylor, and her parents, Joe Bob Kelton and Jessie Mae (Wells) Kelton.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her loving husband, Jimmie Hatchett; her daughter, Katrina Hatchett; her son, Jim Hatchett; her siblings, Montie Frank Kelton and Joanne McLeoud; and two grandchildren. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
