Drug arrest

On July 15, 2024 at approximately 6:04 p.m. the Hohenwald Police Department Investigator Brandon Pace observed Krysta Doree walking on Oakdale Avenue.

Investigator Pace had prior knowledge that she had an active warrant from Decatur County.

After confirming the warrant, Doree grabbed a cigarette from a pack, and before she was detained, she discarded the pack in a trash can nearby.

The pack was retrieved, and a bag containing approximately 0.3 grams of crystal substance, suspected to be methamphetamine, was found inside.

Doree was advised of her rights and claimed the pack belonged to someone else.

Doree was charged with possession of methamphetamine and tampering with evidence.
