NOTICE TO: Prime Land, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company

Notice is hereby given to the above named defendant that a Complaint For Claim of Abandoned Mineral Interest was filed on July 12, 2024, in the Chancery Court for Lewis County, Tennessee, Civil Action No. 2024-CV-60, by Garland C Hunt and Sandra K Hunt, seeking a declaration that the mineral interest have been abandoned and reuniting these interests with the surface rights. The owners of the mineral rights have sixty (60) days in which to file an answer with the Clerk and Master; otherwise, the interest will lapse. Said property is located in the Tenth (10th) District of Lewis County, Tennessee, and being Map 90, Parcel 002.08, described as of Record Book 102, Page 616 of Lewis County, Tennessee.

After inquiring with the county property assessor, no tax is being paid on the mineral estate which underlies Garland C Hunt and Sandra K Hunt’s surface estate and no use is being made of the mineral estate as defined in TCA§ 66-5-108. Said mineral estate is of record in Record Book 45, Page 766, Register’s Office of Lewis County, Tennessee. The name of the mineral interest owner is Prime Land, LLC, a Florida Limited Liability Company.

This notice will be published for three (3) consecutive weeks in the Lewis County Herald.
