LCHS Shooting Sports Compete at Nationals

The Lewis County Shooting Sports team traveled to Ohio the week of July 15th. Anna Burney's 9th Grade J.V. season ended with over 1,100 rounds in the week, between practice and competing in Skeet, Doubles, Sproting, Caps, and Singles. On Friday the 19th, she got her first 75 straight in Singles and shot a 98/100 on Friday. After competing again, she wound up bringing home 4th place after a reverse run by one shot in J.V. Ladies in Nationals. Zoie Clark earned second place Lady Varsity in Doubles for the state of Tennessee and will head to Jacksonville University to shoot with her new teammates where she will be attending college.
