Brent is the son of the late Paul Bridges, who worked at, then managed the Airport for 40 years, and was instrumental in keeping it up and procuring grants for its renovations.
The fly-in event, held on August 17th, 2024 as part of National Aviation Day, included a free pancake breakfast, fly-ins, and a variety of aircraft on display. Several local venues were also on-site in an effort to bring awareness to aviation and local business. The Lewis County Library and Archives was also on-site offering children's activities, library card-sign ups, and showcasing aviation materials....
