GORDONSBURG NEWS

The temperatures have been in the low sixties in the early morning for the last few days and that is good for me anyway. We are still short on rain, but have had some showers around the area and it helps. Hope the weather has not been causing breathing problems for you.

Prayers for these and others we may not know of but especially pray for those with cancer.

If you know any girls that love to bowl, go to movies, do camp outs, horseback riding and other activities then ask them to come to the meeting on August 27th, at 6 pm in the Community Building. We would love to have new girl members and adult members to join us and work with girls in our area.

Happy anniversary to Kenneth and Pat Carroll on August 28th, we wish for them a very happy celebration and many more years to celebrate.

Prayers for all those families who lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about

Robert Bowman, Jim Darden, and Jeff Tatum. Sorry if I missed some that were recent, but I have had a problem with my computer. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

Wishing you and yours a safe week and remember to stay hydrated. Remember those who are less fortunate and can’t be out and around the area and call, send cards or visit if you can, just think if you were shut-in how you might feel.
