Elijah Mayberry

Elijah Brent Mayberry was born in Columbia, TN on April 27, 2001, to his mother Mandy Danelle Mayberry Nelson and biological father Jeffery Brent Hill of Hohenwald.

Mr. Mayberry being a lifelong Wayne County resident, spent his childhood attending school and graduating from Wayne County High School. He would go on to earn his Emergency medical Technician license and work as an EMT. Elijah was a very talented young musician, he enjoyed playing his guitar, piano and drums with his friends. Mr. Mayberry was a free spirit as he loved to take rides on his motorcycle and enjoy the scenery of nature that his God has created. He attended worship with his family at the Full Gospel House of Praise in Waynesboro. Most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and friends. Those who knew him best will remember his loving spirit, and bubbly personality that will always personify who he was. Mr. Elijah Brent Mayberry passed from this life on August 19, 2024, making his stay on this earth some 23 years.

He is survived by his mother Mandy Mayberry of Waynesboro; his father Trevor Nelson both of Waynesboro; his biological father Jeffery Brent Hill; siblings Ethan Mayberry, Ehrin Nelson, and Evan Nelson all of Waynesboro; grandparents Stacey Mayberry of Waynesboro, and Larry and Jan Nelson both of Collinwood; uncles John Hickman and wife Amy, Aunts Kodi Daniels and husband Cory and Tammi Skelton.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Barbara Mayberry
