CHRiStoPHER BRUNSON

Christopher Thomas Brunson Sr., a man whose zest for life and love for the great outdoors passed away at the age of 44 on August 31, 2024, in Hohenwald, TN. Born on April 16, 1980, in Nashville, TN, Chris was a man of adventurous spirit and a source of unwavering support to his family and friends.

Chris grew up in Columbia, TN. where he was lovingly raised by his late parents, Ken and Elaine Russell Brunson. He shared his childhood with his siblings Cayci Brunson, Cayla Chatman, Cory Brunson, and Collin Brunson. Chris' early years set the stage for a life full of exploration and joy, which he later passed down to his own children.

Chris's passion for the wilderness was more than a hobby; it was a way of life. His adventurous soul led him to explore the natural beauty of Tennessee and beyond. His enthusiasm for camping was infectious, and he never missed an opportunity to share the serenity of a starlit sky or the thrill of a new trail.

He was a man of many virtues, but above all, Chris was known for his adventurous heart. His ability to turn any situation into an adventure, his readiness to lend a helping hand, and his infectious smile. His legacy lives on through the lives of his children, who embody his spirit of discovery.

Chris leaves behind a family who adored him: his devoted wife, Linda; his proud children, Michaela and Christopher; his caring siblings Cayci, Cayla, Cory, and Collin; and his cherished nephews, River Risner and Casper Chatham. He also leaves behind his father-in-law Robert Guzman. Each of them will carry forward a piece of Chris's extraordinary spirit, ensuring that his love for life continues to inspire for generations to come.
