PAULINE TRIPP

Sally Pauline Tripp, affectionately known as Pauline, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2024, at her residence in Hohenwald, Tennessee surrounded by her loving family. Born on August 28, 1948, in Dyersburg, Tennessee, Pauline was the beloved matriarch of a large and loving family, who felt her warmth and care in every aspect of their lives.

Pauline spent her formative years in Dyersburg, where she was born to Billy and Elsie Staggs, both of whom predeceased her. Her life was a testament to the enduring power of love and family, a theme that was evident in every relationship she nurtured. Pauline raised a family of three children who were her pride and joy: Renee Odom (Kenny), Greg Tripp (Beverly), and Odell Tripp (Melissa).

Her siblings, Christine Rogers, Janette Peters, and Randy Shelton, shared in the tapestry of Pauline's life, each thread woven with care and affection. She was also preceded in death by her siblings Billy Joe Staggs, Lonnie Staggs, Roger Staggs, and Delsie Nugent, whose memories remain a cherished part of her story.

Pauline's legacy is also lovingly carried on by her adoring grandchildren: Kendra Bates, Cassie Kellogg (Brad), Cameron Tripp (Sadie), Casey Tripp, Carson Tripp (Savannah), Payton Tripp, Preston Tripp, Jonathan Tripp, Colton Tripp, Kaitlyn Rose Marlow, Timothy Tripp, Sydney Henderson, and Ryder Henderson. She was also a doting great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her immense joy and happiness.

Known for her loving nature, Pauline was the epitome of gentleness and creativity. Her hands were rarely still, as she found solace and expression in sewing, drawing, and painting. These interests were more than hobbies; they were extensions of her love, with every stitch and brushstroke a testament to her thoughtfulness and care.

Pauline's grandbabies were the light of her life, and she cherished every moment spent with them. Her gentle guidance and unconditional love shaped their lives profoundly, leaving an indelible mark on their hearts. Pauline's presence was a comforting constant, and her wisdom is the guiding force that will continue to influence generations to come.

Throughout her life, Pauline was a pillar of strength and a source of kindness to all who knew her. Her creative spirit and gentle demeanor were matched only by her unwavering devotion to her family. Her home was a haven of warmth, where laughter and love were always in abundance.

As we bid farewell to Pauline, we celebrate a life lived with grace and compassion. She leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate within the hearts of those she touched. Pauline's memory will be cherished and honored, as we carry forward the lessons of kindness, creativity, and love that she embodied so beautifully.

In her passing, Pauline reunites with her parents, and siblings who have gone before her. While we will miss her dearly, we take solace in knowing that her spirit lives on through the lives she shaped and the memories we hold dear.

Visitation with family and friends was held in the chapel of Adair Funeral & Cremation Services on Sunday, September 8, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 pm and again Monday September 9, 2024, from 9:00 am until time of service at 1:00 pm. Burial followed at Lewis County Memorial Gardens.
