Q.) Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?

A.) Originally from Michigan, moved to hohenwald at the age of 10. Graduated from LCHS. Married to Sheila Mullins and together have 11 grandkids. I enjoy donating my time putting together benefits and raising money for those in need.

Q.) Where did you grow up?

A.) Hohenwald since the age of 10

Q.) What is one of your fondest childhood memories?

A.) Riding dirt bikes

Q.) What did you want to be as a kid? What did you actually become?

A.) My childhood dream was to be a police officer.

My dream of becoming a police officer was put to a stop after a traumatic accident that left me disabled.

Q.) Who was/is your biggest role model?

A.) During my time after my traumatic injury, Mr Paul Tanner visited and inspired me to not give up on life, to have faith, and to keep fighting.

Q.) What are some of your favorite hobbies/ how do you like to spend your free time?

A.) I love riding motorcycles, going to the river, and hanging out with friends and family

Q.) If you could go anywhere, in or out of the states, where would it be? Why?

A.) Australia and/or Egypt. That's my wife's dream vacation and I would love to full fill that dream.

Q.) What is one of your favorite things about living in Hohenwald?

A.) How the community pulls together when someone is in need.

Q.) What is your favorite time of year? Why?

A.) Summertime. Riding motorcycles and river time with friends.

Q.) What do you enjoy most about your job?

A.) Unfortunately I am disabled but I enjoy organizing benefits to help a neighbor that needs it.

Q.) Do you have a nick name?

A.) Doc, if you know, you know

Q.) If you could spend one day as a TV character, who would it be?

A.) A super hero, cause I like helping those in need

Q.) Is there any life advice you could give to our readers?

A.) No matter what life throws your way, never stop fighting through it.
