On September 18, 2024, City of Hohenwald Officer Sheyenne Reeves responded to a car accident at 18 South Walnut Street. A blue Nissan car hit a brick house, and the driver was found nearby with injuries. According to the driver, the brakes failed, and she jumped out. The car and property at both 18 and 20 South Walnut Street were damaged. The driver was taken to the hospital for stomach pain.
