Person of the Week: Derek Hinson

Q.) Can you tell me a little bit about yourself?

A.) My name is Derek Hinson. I have lived in Hohenwald, TN all my life. My mom is Cheryl Hinson, my dad was Terry Hinson, he passed awayin 2016. I worked at Walmart for 14 1/2 years. I love to be around people!

Q.) What is one of your fondest childhood memories?

A.) Learning to ride my bicycle, roller skating, enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball and bocce.

Q.) What did you want to be as a kid? What did you actually become?

A.) I wanted to be a police officer like my dad. Now, I stay home to help my mom.

Q.) Who was/is your biggest role model?

A.) My dad!

Q.) What are some of your favorite hobbies/ how do you like to spend your free time?

A.) I like to take care of my dogs, listening to Christian music, and help mom.

Q.) If you could go anywhere, in or out of the states, where would it be? Why?

A.) Hawaii, because I have never been.

Q.) What is "your" song?

A.) "I speak Jesus"

Q.) What is one of your favorite things about living in Hohenwald?

A.) Because I know everyone and they know me!

Q.) What is your favorite time of year? Why?

A.) Christmas! I love the decoratons and going to my church play.

Q.) Do you have a nick name?

A.) "Bubba" or "Buddy". My dad called me "little Man"

Q.) If you could spend one day as a TV character, who would it be?

A.) Zach "Saved by the Bell"

A.)Pray, go to church and LOVE EVERYBODY!
