Another week of fall weather and fall is here so I guess that is the way it should be, we still have not had rain, but the dew has been heavy lots of mornings. The October Heritage Festival is over and there was certainly lots to do and see around the area. Hopefully you had a great weekend and was able to enjoy the festivities around the county.

Those I know which are sick either at home, in nursing facilities or in the hospitals are: Kasey Baker, Colene Beasley, Linda Butler, Elizabeth Boggs, Cathey Carroll, Gertie Carroll, Pam James Carroll, Spencer Clark, Nita Cottrel, Robert and Pat Dickson, Polly Edwards, Paul Gandy, Wayne Holloway, Leon Hunter, Monette King, Lillie Mitchell, Doug Miller, Howard Miller, Judy O’Guin, Roger Pace, Debbie Pierce, Bonnie Runions, Harry Runions, Marsha Runions, Russell Runions, Vera Runions, Terry Stutts, Randy Willis, and Annette Williams. Prayers for these and others we may not know of but especially pray for those with cancer Please remember those who suffered such loss and destruction from the storms in the southeastern part of our country and those families in Wyoming where the fires are raging.

We wish a happy birthday to Brett Odom and Mary Ann Whitehead the 20th, Tammy Stutts, Jacob Odom, Judy Bennett the 21st, Johnny Edwards and McKala Carroll the 22nd, Lexie Carroll the 23rd, and Jim Walker and Haven Grace Carrees the 24th. Wishing for all these and anyone I missed a very happy birthday and many more to celebrate.

Happy anniversary to Darren and Ashley Garner and Ricky and Helen Akridge the 19th, and Darrell and Diana Runions the 21st, we wish for these couples many more happy years to celebrate life together.

Prayers for all those families who lost loved ones this past week. These are the ones I know about

Dudley St. Patrick Houston, Wanda Denise Butler Howe, Brenda Hill, Luis Enrique Conzalez, Pat Sue Harris, Dorothy Lee Stinson, Mary Beth Blackburn, and Joann Carol Guinn.. Prayers for these families and any others about which I may not know.

Prayers for all the families in the area and hope for you and your family to have a great week and enjoy the weather which may be cooler than normal for this time of year. Remember those who are less fortunate and help where you can and send cards or visits and call when you can. Letting them know we care sends a message of love and interest in them.
