LCHS Volleyball in district play

On October 7th and 8th, LCHS' lady Panther volleyball hit the road for post-season play during the TSSAA Division 1, Class 1-A, District 11 tournament. October 7 saw the Lady Panthers facing the Lady Tigers of Mt. Pleasant. LCHS swept the match in 3 sets with set scores of 29-27, 25-21, and 25-13, knocking Mt. Pleasant out of the tournament. The match on October 8 placed the Lady Panthers against first place Loretto, and the Lady Panthers fell in 3 sets with scores of 12-15, 12-25, and 6-25. This settled the district post-season standings with LCHS finishing the highest it had since 2019. District finishes were; Loretto in first, Summertown in second, Collinwood in third, Lewis County in fourth, Mt. Pleasant in fifth, Perry County in sixth, and Hampshire in seventh place. At the end of the tournament, Lady Panther Sophomore Jazalyn Conner received All-Season honors by vote of the district coaches.
