This article has covered six of the basic factors that are critically important for your health. This is the last Focus on Vibrant Health, and provides a quick review. If you would like to continue to have or reclaim your birth right of vibrant health, attend to these things.
Nutrition
The foods you choose to eat should taste delicious and supply the vitamins and minerals and many other factors your body needs to grow (in childhood), and to repair itself. This includes eating animal products from animals living as nature intended, not in factory farms. The soils should be healthy, for both grazing and for raising vegetables and fruits. Ideally, know your farmers, and raise things yourself.
Sunshine
Get as much sunshine as possible. It is as important as food for supplying the energy that your body needs to function. Seeing sunrise is critical for setting your circadian biology, and mid-day sun is when you make vitamin D. Look toward the sun, not at it, and avoid getting sun burned. Put your bare feet on the ground and touch plants while you’re outside.
Avoid poisons
You are exposed to poisons through your food, water, air and soil. Avoid processed food, plastics, chemical and scented personal care and cleaning products. Avoid man-made electromagnetic fields as much as possible. These come from your cell phone, WiFi, smart meters and other smart appliances. Poisoning may also come from emotions, yours and the people you are around.
Exercise
Do something, anything, every day. If all you can do is move your arms and legs while sitting, do that. Go for a walk. Walk fast part of the time. Lift heavy things (safely) regularly. You can even imagine exercise and benefit.
Sleep
Getting a good night’s sleep is critical for your health. Go to bed by 10 pm, and get at least 8 hours per night. Turn off and unplug all electronics in the bedroom, including WiFi. Have all lights off, and protect from street lights if necessary. Your body integrates information and repairs itself during this critical time.
Emotional Health
Manage stress by taking action, asking for help, delegate, and making good lifestyle choices. Choose an attitude of love, curiosity, and gratitude. You will be amazed and how much better you feel. Value your social connections; have at least a few good friends you can count on. Live your life with purpose, expressing the unique contribution you have to offer. And be happy, making whatever changes you need to support that.
Take one small step at a time, and continue to forge ahead. I guarantee you that it will make a difference over time. You are not a victim of your current situation, and you do not need to depend on a so-called “expert” to help you.
