Philip Dwayne Berry

Philip Dwayne Berry was born October 26, 1963 in Florence, Alabama to the union of the late Grady Glen and Mary Sue Weaver Berry. Mr. Berry spent his childhood enjoying the beautiful scenery of the Collinwood area. He was a 1981 graduate of Collinwood Highschool.

Working with the Machinist Local #65, he would become a skilled machinist spending most of his career working for TVA. On August 05, 2011 he was united in marriage to the former Misty Miller. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially time he could spending working in his garden. He enjoyed everything about baseball, from playing to baseball cards. Nothing could compare to the cherished time he spent with his family and friends. Mr. Berry departed this life on Monday, October 21, 2024 making his stay in this life some 60 years, 11 months, and 26 days.

Those left behind to cherish his memory include his wife, Misty Berry of Waynesboro, one daughter, Brenlee Berry of Waynesboro, three sisters, Sandra Lowery (David) of Hohenwald, Donna Rich (Larry) of Collinwood, Carol Kelso of Hohenwald, two brothers, Eddie Berry (Donna) of Waynesboro, David Berry (Robbie) of Cypress Inn, He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and loving friends.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Berry.

Visitation with the Berry Family will be on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. until service time at 2:00 p.m.

Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Bates-Love Funeral and Cremation Chapel with David Lowery and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the Collinwood Memorial Gardens.
