Both Spears and Nash were presented with awards during the opening ceremonies of the 2024 Oktober Heritage Festival, October 11, 2024. Mrs. Nash received the 2024 History and Heritage Award. "Crystal's dedication to preserving our community's history and promoting literacy is truly inspiring," said a representative of the Library.
