November 5, 2024 is the day. If you didn't head to the Election Office to cast your ballot during the early voting period, then Tuesday, November 5th is the day you need to make your voice heard.

The next four years literally depend on you. Get off the couch, leave early from work, skip the meal out for lunch, and get your body to your precinct, and vote.

The official ballot for Lewis County can be found on page A7 and includes elections for the following: President and Vice President of the United States, United States Senate, United States House of Representatives District 5, Tennessee Senate District 28, Tennessee House of Representatives District 69.

According to Administrator of Elections Rusty Isbell, Lewis Countians have cast 3,488 votes during the early election process. He wants to remind voters, "The election commission office is not a polling place on election day. Your district and precinct can be found online, or by calling the office. Also, if you vote in person, you MUST present a photo ID issued by the federal or Tennessee state government.
