Dreama Pitts

Dreama Russell Pitts, passed away peacefully on October 20, 2024, in Hohenwald, at 58. Born on November 20, 1965, in Charlestown, WV, to the late James Bart and Betty Lovejoy Russell, Dreama's vibrant spirit touched all who knew her.

Dreama was the cherished wife of the late James Pitts Sr., and together they shared a life full of joy and companionship. She found solace in crochet, a craft through which she expressed her creativity and love for her family. Dreama and James shared many adventures, taking scenic rides they both treasured. These moments became cherished memories that Dreama held close to her heart after James's passing.

Her children survive her, Jennifer (Jesse) Coker, Jessica Pitts, and James (Sabrina) Pitts Jr. Her life was further enriched by the presence of her grandchildren, Katelyn Haley, Kainen Pitts, Layla Pitts, Tylor Pitts, Brennan Keeton, Natalie Pitts, Logan Keeton, and Colton Holloway.

Dreama's siblings, David Russell and Sandy Lunsford, will remember her as the sister who always had a joke at the ready and a hug for anyone in need. She was predeceased by siblings Becky Bodian, Phillip Russell, Benny Russell, and two brothers, whose memories she kept alive through her stories and laughter.

Her life was not without sorrow, as she bore the loss of her grandchildren Cruz Hooper, Madison Keeton, Darryl Keeton, and Kyler Hooper.

There are currently no services planned. Adair Funeral & Cremation Services is assisting the family with arrangements.
