Not-So-Spooky At Lewis Library

On Saturday, October 26, 2024, the Lewis County Public Library and Archives hosted its annual Not-So-Spooky Story Time event. Families of all ages participated in an engaging session featuring Halloween-themed stories. Children enjoyed dancing to songs about pumpkins and trick-or-treating. In keeping with the story theme, participants created bear treat bags and dressed the bears as princesses, superheroes, pirates, sharks, and more.

Ms. Jaimee guided the children on a tour of the library to the trick-or-treat section, where they then played games. Judith led an activity called "Pin the Spider on the Web," where each child, blindfolded, placed a balloon on a web made of tape. Courtney and Gabriel assisted with the Monster Bowling game. In each activity, all participants collected candy in their crafted treat bags.
