Gov. Bill Lee, First Lady Maria Lee Invite Tennesseans to Celebrate the Christmas Season at Tennessee Residence

Governor Bill Lee and First Lady Maria Lee are inviting Tennesseans to celebrate the Christmas season at the Tennessee Residence with the 2024 Christmas tours.

Beginning on Friday, December 6, Tennessee’s historic home will be decorated in this year’s theme, “Tender Tennessee Christmas.” Through the spectacular Christmas décor, guests will be immersed into the idyllic and timeless traditions that capture Christmases of Tennessee’s past and present.

“Christmas in Tennessee is one of a kind. It is marked not only by holiday festivity, but by the love, joy, and care we share with our neighbors and loved ones,” said First Lady Maria Lee. “This holiday season, Bill and I look forward to celebrating Christmas alongside our fellow Tennesseans as we reflect on the many ways the Lord has blessed us here in Tennessee.”

In partnership with the First Lady’s Tennessee Serves initiative, the Governor and First Lady are continuing their Christmas tradition of encouraging guests to participate in giving back during the holiday season by bringing requested items to support the work of five select nonprofits from across the state. This year’s nonprofits include One by One Ministries, Nashville Anti-Human Trafficking Coalition, YAIPAK Outreach, Family Promise of Roane County, and Morgan Scott Project.

The Tennessee Residence will be open to the public for Christmas tours from Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8, and from Friday, December 13 through Sunday, December 15. All tours are self-guided, free to the public and require a reservation.

To schedule a tour or for additional information and requested donations, visit the Tennessee Residence website.
