Panther Basketball: November 4, 2024

Despite trailing 13-12 at halftime, the JV Panthers brought home the only win for Lewis County on Monday night, November 4th, as they narrowly defeated the Hickman County Bulldogs, 24-22.

Dominick J blocked three of the four shots, and 31 rebounds were grabbed, with Hunter C taking 10 of them. Scoring for the JV Panthers were Hunter C and Lucky T, each with five points, Kanon M (4), Cooper J (3), Brantlee T (2), Dominick (2), Harvey S (2), and Haven R (1).

With nine lead changes throughout the night, the Panthers fought hard to keep a winning streak but fell, 23-39, to the Hickman County Bulldogs. They grabbed 38 rebounds (Brody C. with 14 of those) in total, and scorers for the Panthers included: Knox H (4), Gunner F (3), Braylon K (2) Gavyn B (2).

25 rebounds and seven blocked shots weren’t enough to bring home the win for the Lady Panthers Monday night. Lyric Inman was the leading scorer with six points. Other players scoring for Monday’s game were Jazelyn B (3), Delani H (4), Zarriona D (4), and Jacelyn A (2).
